Jen is the proud parent of three Elmbrook School District students representing
the classes of ‘20, ’23 and ‘27. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration
degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Master of Business degree
from Northwestern University. Her career includes more than 20 years of
experience in management consulting and marketing for GE Healthcare.
Jen has been actively involved in the Elmbrook school community for more than
18 years. She has regularly volunteered in the schools through Girl Scouts,
theater programs, robotics teams, Battle of the Books, room parenting, and as a
sports team parent. With a deep passion for public education, she is running for a
second term on the Elmbrook School Board after a short break to support family
obligations.
Jen served on the Elmbrook School Board from 2020–2023, navigating
a period of unprecedented uncertainty. She was an active participant on all four
board committees tackling issues like school reopening, COVID-19 response,
4K expansion, capital investment and more. In 2025, Jen was selected to serve
as interim board member to fill a board vacancy.
Jen seeks to understand issues from multiple perspectives and leverages the
knowledge and skills of diverse groups. She works collaboratively with fellow
board members, administration, and the broader community — always
prioritizing transparency in decision-making.
Jen relies on evidence and objective data to inform decision making. She
digs deep and applies solid research and analytics. Jen is nonpartisan and
is not swayed by outside noise or politics. She remains focused on what is
best for our students, staff and community.
Elmbrook already compares well to peer districts. I want us to lead in every category of student achievement — and that is where our next opportunity for growth lies.
